Day 9 of my mental health themed A to Z Challenge is I for important.
Everyone is important. This is even more crucial to remember when you have mental health problems such as depression. When you struggle with your mental health it is really easy to sink into a place where you don’t feel important, you don’t feel good enough, you don’t love yourself and don’t feel worthy of other people’s love. I know, I have felt all of this. Please remember you are important. You are important to someone, even if that someone is yourself.

Good advice, Lauren. So much of modern society seems to be geared to make us forget individuality, and our own importance as part of a larger whole.
Best wishes, Pete.
We are important because of our individuality but also because of what we bring to the whole. Even if we struggle to see our value, every voice adds to the conversation and enriches the community. Thank you for your thoughts on individual value. It is something I have been thinking about for the last few months.
Thankyou, I’m glad that you enjoyed this post 😀
Yes, everyone is important and everyone deserves to be happy and to be loved. It’s such a sad thing when mental illness prevents people from seeing that about themselves
