Mental Health Mates

Mental Health Mates Norwich June 2017 Milly's Guide

Mental Health Mates are walks organised by volunteers. It is a safe space to walk and talk without fear or judgement. It is not a form of therapy or medication. It is somewhere to meet other people, people you can be completely honest with and be yourself. These walks were originally set up by Bryony Gordon, author of Mad Girl. I first heard about the groups when reading this article. These walks are a way of realising that you are not alone.

I am very proud to be organising the Norwich Mental Health Mates group. I hope to help myself and others to ‘find your we’.

For more information check out the Mental Health Mates website, join the group and like Millys Guide on facebook.

12 humans and 4 doggies enjoyed a walk and talk at the first Norwich Mental Health Mates February 2017.
