Happy New Year! This week I want to share with you what I’ve done in my first week in 2017 and specifically how I have been getting on with the Self Care Challenge on Instagram.
This challenge set by Hope the Black Dog has been fantastic at getting me to think about taking some time for me in different ways. I’ve really enjoyed it and am enjoying coming up with photographs for each day of the challenge.
Day 3 was about something that feels good. I wore a cosy thermal top, my new comfy hoody and new deliberately odd socks. I had a really hard day which started with a bad dream, continuing on with lots of anxiety through the day and finished off with a headache so it felt good to relax in bed with Milly that evening!
Day 6 was laugh so I settled down with a funny movie last night and today is smells good so I’ve baked orange and blueberry muffins!
If we were catching up over coffee, I’d tell you that Chrismas seems a long time ago now that I’ve been back at work 4 days! I’d also tell you about my Christmas present to myself which was a nutribullet and that I’m enjoying experimenting with spinach and fruit to make different coloured smoothies! How has your week been?
