14. Go to Cadbury World

Lauren visits Cadbury World as part of her 30 before 30 bucket list. Millys Guide.

Number 14 on my 30 before 30 list is to visit Cadbury World. Now, I’ve always been a chocoholic and had never visited, the British Heart Foundation are running a dechox in March and I said that I would rather trek the Great Wall of China again than give up chocolate for a month!

Last year I stayed in Birmingham for a few days and took the train just outside the city to Cadbury World. It was fascinating to see where the chocolate was made and packaged. I’ve always been a Dairy Milk fan, I love how sweet it is and I don’t like posh, dark chocolates! And on my walk round there was lots of free chocolate! I’ve heard that there used to be lots more, but I was happy with the amount that we got. It was a little bit educational aswell as I learnt about the history of Cadbury’s and the creation of the Bourneville village. There was a 4d experience which involved you sitting in a chair, wearing glasses and watching a big screen. The chairs moved around and it felt like you were on a rollercoaster. I was really gripping onto the armrests and was terrified that I was going to fall out!

Are you a chocoholic? Have you ever visited Cadbury World?

Let me know what you think
