#FridayFive – week three

Gratitude is supposed to lead to happiness and a more positive attitude, so here’s my #FridayFive which are five things that I’m grateful for. Join in! What are you grateful for?

1. I am so grateful to be having a little mini break in Amsterdam!

2. I’m so pleased and grateful that I have my hat, scarf and gloves with me because it’s so cold!

3. I’m grateful that my body is allowing me to enjoy this time. When I got out of bed the day we were flying over here I was in a lot of pain with sciatica, thankful to say it hasn’t been any trouble since we got here and I’ve been walking round and round the city 😀 A few headaches and a bit of insomnia but not letting that stop me.

4. I’m grateful that the horrible, upsetting, anxiety inducing dream I had last night was just a dream.

5. I’m grateful for my parents who are looking after Milly and giving her a little holiday too!

    Nice to be having a break in Amsterdam. I love that city, and especially the pancakes!
    1) Grateful for: Reasonably good health.
    2) Grateful for; A good education, with inspirational teachers.
    3) Grateful for: Being part of a great circle of bloggers.
    4) Grateful for; Being blessed with commonsense.
    5) Grateful for: The love and companionship of my wife and our dog.

      Hi Pete, thanks for joining in. I’m really pleased you are finding things to be grateful for and positive about. Amsterdam was lovely, and yes had a pancake! Very nice to be home now and reunited with Milly 🙂

    That’s a great list of gratitudes! I’m grateful that your sciatica didn’t flare up during your vacation, too! Ok, here are my five…
    1) I’m so grateful for my friends at work! My colleagues are really supportive, and I love the team that I work with.
    2) I’m grateful to the family friends who took me out to dinner last weekend. They are a little like surrogate parents.
    3) I’m very grateful for the new friends that I made on a retreat in December. They invited me to a bookclub meeting on Saturday, and I came home with an armful of new books the they lent me!
    4) I’m grateful for the girl who teaches yoga at my studio on Wednesday nights. She’s a fantastic instructor!
    5) I’m grateful for the really fabulous grocery store that is less than a 10 minute drive from my house. I was in pretty desperate need of fresh groceries today, and it is so easy to stop there on the way home from work!

    Thanks for inviting me to ponder my gratitudes. It is definitely a practice that I could benefit from more often.
