Hello there! Remember me?! I’ve been AWOL for a while. 17 days, in fact since I last posted. I think that’s the longest I’ve gone without blogging since I started Milly’s guide to happiness. I thought I would kick it off my return with a catch up over a coffee/tea/Diet Coke/fruit juice/water.
If we were drinking coffee, I’d tell you all about the continuing professional development course I’ve been doing for the last two years. It culminated in a professional review. This involved a lot of prep, a presentation, a trip to London and a lot of nerves. And then I had to wait 2 whole weeks to find out that I’d passed!
If we were drinking coffee, I’d tell you that my partner passed his driving test this week, which means we get to share the driving, feels a little bit strange not to be the one in control of the car!
If we were drinking coffee, I’d tell you that I’ve joined Instagram recently. Before I never really got the point, but am really enjoying sharing photos and looking at other ones. Like this blog, me and Milly are sharing our account so expect lots of pics of my beautiful red fox Labrador, updates on what I’m up to and lots of flowers which will hopefully bring a smile to your face 😀 You can find us on Instagram @LaurenEph
If we were drinking coffee, I’d tell you that I don’t know what’s been going on with me the last few weeks or why I haven’t been blogging. I just haven’t felt like it. I havent been particularly unhappy but I know that I was stressed over the cpd stuff. I haven’t really been doing any of my self care activities, no colouring, nothing really creative, no nor selling, no colouring in for little squares to keep me motivated and my back has been sore so no 10,000 steps, no Pilates and no Zumba. But that’s changing this week, back to blogging and back to self care and being kind to myself.
No blogging has also meant no reading of blogs! So I feel like I need to catch up with you all. Leave me a comment with one of your blog posts that you think I need to check out!
